Saw one for sale recently. At present I own no 12 gauge. I'm thinking one of these or a plain Jane walnut and park 870P.
"...But they would never find anything to beat the old Springfield ...the long sleek streamline, very slim but with potent bulges, all in the just exactly right places to give it that pugnaciously forward-leaning, eager look that marked the Springfield. Beside it, the M1 looked like a fat old man puffing with a lack of training...the two most beautiful things made in America were the ax-handle and the clipper ship? ...they should have added one more thing: The Springfield '03 rifle..."

I'm probably better going 870P with extended mag. What we carrying on post as MSGs. Never saw one fail and they are a cheap buy.

I wasn't aware of any differences in the gas system. Can you elaborate? The only difference I am aware of is the ability to interchange chokes with the M4.

Funny the stickers at first glance look like some form of Arabic writing. If you didn't mention them I would have thought it read Infidel or something.

Very cool pictures guys. And good info about the M1014. I dont know much about them.

GW, what kind of work needed a shotgun? Close quarters?

I used mine mostly for busting locks and door hinges. Had two breaching rounds , followed by buckshot and then slugs for the rest in the tube. Great for clearing houses.

Exactly what echo25mar said. Birds of a feather flock together. Let me just say six rounds in two guys within 15 feet make a Hell of a mess.

No infidel stickers at the time. We just told the iraqi's we was from Israel and Jewish. They loved that. Got some epic response.

Epic responses, like "hey, come marry my sister..."?
Good to hear that the gun got the job done for you when it was needed.
              Working...
