  • WTT: Pristine Bavarian marked M1 Carbine for a 40X .22lr, heavy barrel

    As the thread title says.
I have a CMP "Bavarian Police" marked Inland M1 Carbine, with high wood stock, purchased as a Service Grade back in the day that I would like to offer for trade on a
Remington 40x .22lr w heavy barrel. It's got the tell-tale purple coloring on the trigger group parts, and a birch/beech Highwood stock. Extremely nice rifle, and it pains me to put it up, but I want a 40x. These were some of the first Carbines to sell out, outside of the IBMs and Rockolas.

I don't care about the stock or rear sights on the 40x, etc, I'm mainly interested in the action (receiver, barrel and bolt) for an M40a1 trainer build, so it can't be modified in anyway. Must be a heavy barrel. No cash offers.

email: tokiwartooth@optonline.net if you are interested.

I'm going to close this as there is no interest. Have seen a couple of nice 40x .22s on Ebay
