  • M40 Tribute

Had this built as a shooter rather than a 100% accurate clone. Work done by my buddy Steve Clake here in Tacoma. Shoots great out to 200m the little I've fired it (45rds FGMM 168)

    - G series action. Face trued, lugs lapped. Bolt shroud shortened. Early tombstone safety trigger fitted.

    - Lilja 1/10 SS 3 groove 24inch. 118 chamber throated for GMM 168s (have exact specs) Varmint contour like the originals.

    - Gunville stock I spent entirely too much time on. Pillars and bedded. Inside poly sealed, exterior done in 6 coats of BLO. Wichita swivels and Remington aluminum butt plate. GI cotton web sling.

    - Leupold Custom Shop M40 scope and Badger reproduction mount (boxes for both)

Price is 2k shipped. If FFL needed on my end, my shop charges 40. Will ship in generic hard case.

    Partial trades:

    - 700P 300WM, non detachable mag

    - Leupold Mk4 M1 10x or 16x

    - USGI Garand

What a great rifle!! Those Gunville stocks are a nightmare to finish, looks like you did an outstanding job!
