I was on a road trip to DOE last week and the folks took me to a local landmark for lunch, Big Ed's Pizzeria. They told the pizza was good and the place had character and lots of stuff on the walls. Well, they were right, there was loads of "stuff," mostly from Big Ed's time in the Corps and on the Shooting Team. Sadly Big Ed passed a while ago, it would have been nice to have sat down and talked to him. Some pictures.

Some nice stocks and important memorabilia hanging.

    Thanks for posting.

Beside it, the M1 looked like a fat old man puffing with a lack of training...the two most beautiful things made in America were the ax-handle and the clipper ship? ...they should have added one more thing: The Springfield '03 rifle..."

Unfortunately, those stocks were cut at the mag well so they could be "crossed."

Big Ed's is a must for competitive shooters. All of us team shooters stop in during the "Big Ed's classic"
