First coat is dry......I never cut the oil before. I am liking the effect with 50% citrus oil mix....

Went even older with a left hand, gain twist barrel inspired by Pope.
9.5:1 to 8.75:1 even gain.
If the rifle doesn't shoot it's me screwing around with the barrel.
Ill be shooting 168s and 175s.

This was the original stock I was going to build on….
I fit it with a 16601 butt plate but when I saw the Beaver made a run of M40 stocks I backburnered this one for the trigger bump, cheekpiece stock.
Anyone looking for a good youth model stock. Would be good on a .223 Remington 700.
