Very nice! How long does it take you to finish a rifle?

Ooo is there is room in that rack for my A5

Kidding, I know that there is a pretty good line ahead of mine.

    Oh my!

Any of those happen to be "small bore"?
"...But they would never find anything to beat the old Springfield ...the long sleek streamline, very slim but with potent bulges, all in the just exactly right places to give it that pugnaciously forward-leaning, eager look that marked the Springfield. Beside it, the M1 looked like a fat old man puffing with a lack of training...the two most beautiful things made in America were the ax-handle and the clipper ship? ...they should have added one more thing: The Springfield '03 rifle..."

      Add/Edit.......

Realize you are busy though so if you don't have time for pictures no big deal - I know what you are capable of.

Don't worry, you'll get pictures when I get started. Looking forward to it, .223 is unusual and should be fun.

    Nice wood!

How's working on a chassis build compared to old school wood/fiberglass stock and bedding builds?

Because comments do not have the option to "Like"

Not that agree and "Like" Ravens comment that wood/Fiberglass stocks are sought by the cool people.

So down the road how would that barrel be distinguished from an original?

Are the barrels stainless? 5R groove pattern? There may be an easy way to tell. However, in my opinion, the stamps are struck too hard to be confused with an original.

Hoping on the bottom radius - out of sight, out of mind - there is a big beautiful Raven logo engraved.

Me of course I want mine right side just fore of receiver - no words - as on my A1ish.

Mark, out of curiousity is there a logo or some other marking in an inconspicuous place to differentiate these barrels from real deal originals down the road?
          Thanks

The font size and the spacing looks somewhat different to me. Too bad Ryan took down the all the photos of the original barrels, so others could compare, or maybe not so bad...
