  • Reciver to stock torque

looking to pick up a Taylor stock soon. What in/lbs torque do you all lock the reciever at? Im used to stocks with like HS Precision and AICS. Thinking it will be quite a bit lighter poundage without that aluminum chassis

With no pillars 35 to 40 inch pounds. With pillars up to 65 inch pounds.

      How about with glass bedding?

I would treat just glass as if it were wood, due to the fact that you will still have wood between the receiver and bottom metal. Doing it that way is really "old school". IMHO, if I were going to glass it, I would have some pillars in it.

My rifle shoots great without glass bedding and a torque of 35ip. I have posted some pictures of groups that I shot @ 200yds.

        Cheers,
        Steve
