  • My M40 hommage from france.

Hello, my name is Yann, living in the south of France, this is my first message on your forum.
A pics of my Rem 700 bdl varmint that i'm trying to turn into a M40.
I removed the checkering and the varnish, cut the plastic fore end, put a Williams bottom metal , mount from Badger Ordnance and a Leupold riflescope, only buttplate is correct !!!!!!
thank you for your nice forum.

Welcome, and good looking build there.

Did you have to remove much wood when smoothing out the checkered areas?

Great job, good looking rifle! Lets see some groups.

I need to get the family to France one day and bore them by visiting historical sites.

Are you in the area of Operation Dragoon?

Beside it, the M1 looked like a fat old man puffing with a lack of training...the two most beautiful things made in America were the ax-handle and the clipper ship? ...they should have added one more thing: The Springfield '03 rifle..."
