M40 Redfield mount dimensions

Years ago I saw the dimensions on the original M40 mount, which I think was a 20 moa mount. I can’t find it searching Snipershide or this forum. If anyone has it please let me know, thanks

I’m pretty sure the 40x mounts used on early orders of the M40 were flat / zero moa. Same as the 700s mounts used with 2nd scopes and the Unertl mounts on the A1’s.

IIRC, shims were used to gain elevation.

I was thinking it was a tapered thickness to get the elevation they needed for 600 yard shots on the original mount.
