Serial number range for M40a3

What is the correct range for M40a3 builds? Did any six digit get turned into a3’s?

E prefix and G's from what I understand

I have been told that E6378902 is the lowest but if someone knows different let me know.

I appreciate the information guys. I was thinking about possibly buying a rifle with a smear stock and us the action in a M40a3. But that is out.

My sn posted was for the first run of rifles. There may have been lower sn A1’s that got converted.
