What ARD is correct for the M8541?

Tenebraex has two options. Anyone know for sure? Thx.

Technically this one at CS tactical will fit. I would call and verify that the one they are sending you is flip cover compatible. It will also fit the Premier Reticles Heritage Tactical.

However if you want the real hard to find kit correct part you want part number 50SBC-ARD and they do appear once in a while. Picture below.

Thanks. They sell the 50sbc-ard still. I ordered that. I wonder if it comes with the case. Guess I’ll find out.

I wish I could find the correct Premier ARD which has the same edge profile as the front of the scope, so as to be able to use the Premier branded Tenebraex cover.

Just found a couple of these on eBay and picked them up. Legit with case and nsn markings.

the one I got new from tenebraex is not the same.

The one I ordered had no NSN marking. It was a different thread set up as well. I’ll post pictures side by side when I get the legit ones.

Thanks, that would be great. Gonna ask a friend to try it out on his Premier.

The one #50SBC-ARD that I have, fits both the Premier and S&B that I have. Click image for larger version

Finally got to check that unmarked ard, came in a box marked 50sbc, but again the actual ard was unmarked, fits the Premier 50mm, next the Schmidt. Click image for larger version

The ARD I purchased for my build is model #50SB-ARD NSN 6650-01-509-4073. This model # and NSN # both match the picture macethetemplar posted however mine does not have the knurling adjacent to the threads. They must have changed the design at some point?

Also, Does anyone know where I might be able to find the black plastic storage case? I received mine in ordinary blister packaging.

These are the 3 flavors I have. The left two are identical and came in the plastic cases with the white info cards. The one on the right is what I got from tenebraex directly. It fits but is slightly longer and doesn’t have the knurled ring so it’s just sitting in the parts pile. I had a request for size of the case so tried to give some idea is the size.

The middle one is not NSN marked but otherwise seems identical to the left one.

I would add that the premier branded objective cap is a bit loose on my ard’s. It’s ok for display or range use but if I was wanting it to fit like it does on the scope objective I’d probably put a wrap or two of masking tape on the scope objective. I have two premier caps. One I bought standalone and one that came with my premier marked m8541 scope. Both are a bit loose on the ard.

Thanks for the intel. If anyone is selling or knows where I can find one of the original ARDs, please send me an email or private message. I'm working on building a replica of the deployment kit and the ARD is particularly hard to find.
